Children's Ministries
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14
Purpose
The Children’s Ministries strives to make each child feel loved and accepted as they grow in their knowledge of the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We seek to offer a safe environment that ultimately leads children to Christ and assists parents in the spiritual development of their children.
Wednesday Night:
Kids on Mission 6:30pm
Kids on Mission meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 for kids age 3 years old through 5th grade. We are studying the ministries of our church and the missions throughout the world through hands-on learning to instill the love of serving in our children.
Sunday Nights:
Awana 6:00pm
Awana is a Bible-based youth program for kids three years old through the 6th grade. The emphasis is on Bible verse memorization. This unique program is a proven outreach ministry that gets children involved in learning God’s word and developing a personal relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Sunday School: 9:30 - 10:45am
Offered for all ages, Sunday school classes include Bible lessons that make learning the truth of God’s word fun.
Nursery
It is never too early to introduce children to Jesus! Caregivers use teaching tools to aid the children in taking their first steps in learning about God.
Preschool (2’s & 3’s)
If you can play, you can teach preschoolers. Young children learn best from adults. The teachers help to build loving relationships with kids and teach the Bible. Lessons, crafts, and activities make learning fun.
Kindergarten (4’s & 5’s)
Bible lessons, activities, music, and crafts help the children discover more about having a relationship with Jesus. Teachers use the Bible stories to teach life applications.
Grades 1 & 2
This class useing in their reading skills by helping them explore Bible stories and verses that are able to understand and recall. Kids learn that God wants our trust and obedience which leads them to Jesus, our Savior.
Grades 3 - 5
Teachers use a variety of learning activities, meaningful discussion questions and more to help these lively groups become wholehearted followers of Jesus. They will learn how to explore and obey God’s word, trust in Jesus as their Savior and tell others about Him.

Grades 6 - 8
Teachers keep preteens/teens engaged by developing meaningful mentoring relationships with their students that will lead to a strong foundation of faith. This class leads students to discover what the Bible says about popularity, success, failure, friendship, rules, and more.
Grades 9 - 12

Chidren's Choir ages 4 and upChristina Ledbetter is starting music with the kids on Sundays (except last Sunday of the month) from 10:40 to 11:20 or right before Pastor Tom preaches. They will be singing praise songs and toward the end of the summer begin practice for the annual Children’s Christmas Program. Kids from Children’s Church, Jr. Church and any of the older kids are welcome to participate. They will meet in Jr. church room. |
Children’s Church 10:45 - Noon

4 years old through 1st grade
Children’s Worship is a special hour for the children to experience God’s story in fresh, fun and meaningful ways. The lessons weave faith into the children’s life through activities in personal challenges and knowledge of the Bible. They discover the adventure of applying God’s trust to everyday life and how to build a forever relationship with Jesus – the best friend they could ever have.
