F.A.Q.

Where do I park?

Parking is in the rear of our building.

Where do I go first when I attend?

Ask one of the greeters at the door for assistance and a tour of our facilities.
Our front door is in the rear of our building.

How should I dress?

There is no dress code to attend so wear what is comfortable for you. We only ask that you dress modestly.

What ages of people come to Fellowship?

We have members from all age groups. From babies in the nursery to those pushing 100 who attend, and a wide range of ages in between who attend. We are happy that persons of such diverse age groups call First Baptist of Gahanna home.

What's happening between 9:30 - 10:30?

Our Adult and Youth Sunday School is broken down by age group and subject matter.

What is the 10:45 service like?

A normal Sunday morning worship service will consist of some singing, special music, and a message from the Bible that is easy to understand and usually relevant to issues that you face in life. Listen to some of the past sermons on-line.

What happens on Wednesday Nights?

We have a "Digging Deeper" Bible study to further discuss the previous Sunday's message. We also try to offer additional classes on various life topics as well.

Will I be asked to give money?

In most of our services an offering is received. Visitors are under no obligation to give to the ministry of this church. If you do not want to give or if you regularly give to your home church, simply pass the offering plate to the person next to you.

Will I be asked to say anything publicly?

No. We know that most first time visitors want to attend as anonymously as possible. We want you to enjoy your visit and be a blessing to you and your family.

I have young children. Is there a place for them?

You and your family are welcome in the Sunday Service. We also have a wonderful nursery and children's programs. You are welcome to utilize either and/or both.

What kind of music do you use?

Our worship services feature blended music. We sing and use praise and worship as well as hymns. We feel it is important to provide a balanced service that ministers to believers of all ages. The most important element of music for us is that the music says the right things and helps us worship God in spirit and in truth.

How long does service last?

Most Sunday worship services are on average about an hour and fifteen minutes (10:45 to Noon).

What Bible is used?

We normally use the English Standard Version (ESV), but we will use the best translation that provides clarity to the message being preached.
